About Our Practice in Centralia

Dr. Cooper Zurfluh is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care. Known for his easy-going nature and attentive approach, he takes the time to truly listen to his patients, ensuring they feel heard and valued at every visit.

After earning his Doctor of Optometry summa cum laude from the University of Houston in 2021, Dr. Zurfluh completed a residency in ocular disease at the VA Portland Health Care System. With a background in exercise science from the University of Puget Sound, he brings a holistic perspective to eye health, integrating nutrition and overall wellness into his patient care.

For Dr. Zurfluh, the most rewarding part of his work is helping people see clearly while building lasting relationships with patients and their families. Outside the clinic, he enjoys snowboarding, playing softball, homebrewing, cooking, reading, and staying active through fitness and exercise.

Dr. Curtis Burghart is dedicated to helping patients see their best through personalized, lifestyle-focused eye care. With a compassionate approach and a genuine interest in each person’s needs, he takes the time to find vision solutions that enhance daily life. His patients appreciate his thoughtful problem-solving and the trust he builds through multigenerational family relationships.

Dr. Burghart earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston in 1988 after completing a Bachelor of Science at Southwestern Adventist University. Over the years, he has remained committed to providing quality care so that every patient—whether new or returning—feels valued and understood.

Outside the office, Dr. Burghart enjoys volunteering at his church, woodworking, and gardening. Whether he’s crafting something by hand or tending to his plants, he brings the same dedication and attention to detail that defines his approach to eye care.
